Climate Scientist | Atmospheric Blocking and Heat Extremes

"Our time is limited on this planet. Let’s solve the intricate complexities of Earth System Science, because Climate Change is NOT ON VACATION!"

About Me

I am a PhD candidate in Atmospheric Sciences at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. For my doctoral dissertation, I am studying the role of internal climate variability in atmospheric blocking and temperature extremes with my amazing advisor Prof. James Renwick.

With a strong foundation in Atmospheric Sciences, I aim to address critical questions that help advance our understanding of the rapidly changing climate. My research focuses on the precursors of extreme weather events such as atmospheric blocking, polar vortex, atmospheric rivers, and jet streaks.

I live in the vibrant and windy Wellington, a capital of New Zealand which is known for stunning landscapes, thriving arts scene, and proximity to nature.
